I have explored the natural and created landscape for thirty years.

I began my time behind the camera studying an urban landscape. When my life became rural over twenty years ago, my photography’s focus shifted. One consistency is my desire to isolate shapes, form, patterns, light, and texture in my work.

As I became a mom and my moments became more precious, my photographs have become less deliberate. I am glad that I am someone who recognizes beauty and idiosyncrasies almost instantaneously. I believe these candid observations are showing more and more in my photography.

Still I long to become a more methodical and purposeful photographer once again.
